Please join YMP London at Anglo American PLC on Tuesday 14 November for what promises to be a great debate about one of the most important topics in the mining sector.

Mining is crucial to decarbonisation, but it’s also an industry that is hard to decarbonise and has been operating the same way for hundreds of years.

With many companies announcing 2030 and 2050 decarbonisation goals, strategies for short-term, medium-term, and long-term emission reductions are ever-changing. The changing landscape of available vs. emerging technologies, in addition to the nuanced operations of each mining company (Ex. location, type of operations - open pit vs underground, commodity), will majorly impact the way in which mining companies can reach their net-zero targets.
