Young Mining Professionals Toronto is excited to announce that we will be hosting Barrick Gold’s President Kelvin Dushnisky at our distinguished speaker dinner event on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Hy’s Steakhouse.
KELVIN DUSHNISKY
Kelvin Dushnisky has more than 25 years of international mining industry experience, with a focus on project development and public affairs. He was appointed President of Barrick Gold in August 2015 with overall responsibility for the execution of Barrick’s strategic priorities and was appointed to the Board of Directors of Barrick in February 2016.
Kelvin also represents Barrick Gold at the World Gold Council, the International Council on Mining and Metals and the Business Council of Canada. He joined Barrick in 2002. Prior to
joining Barrick, he held management positions at EuroZinc Mining Corporation, Sutton
Resources and Rescan Consultants.
Kelvin holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, in addition to a Master of Science degree and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of British Columbia.
